The Ping protocol for Copper is very simple:

For the server:
|
||
|
|
Run a Reliability Layer node.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
For the client:
|
||
|
|
Send a Reliability Layer packet to port 0, no data.
|
||
|
|
The time from sending to acknowledgement is the ping.
|
